Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Durban is seeking a focused Coordinator to manage WSPs/ATRs and guide funded training programs. You will engage clients, tailor solutions, and coordinate grants while ensuring regulatory reporting aligned with SETA and B-BBEE requirements.

The role emphasizes developing lasting client partnerships, meeting revenue targets, and supporting learning initiatives such as Learnerships and Skills Programmes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in training and skills development.
• Understanding of SETA, B-BBEE requirements and discretionary grants.
• Certification in SDF/ODETDP would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and compile WSPs and ATRs in line with SETA and B-BBEE.
• Drive sales and revenue growth through SETA-funded training solutions.
• Identify and engage with clients to understand training needs.
• Recommend funded training solutions based on client requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate Learnerships, Skills Programmes and YES initiatives.
• Coordinate Discretionary Grant applications and funding reports.
• Ensure timely submission of SETA, B-BBEE and regulatory reports.
• Stay up to date with changes to SETA and skills development legislation.

Job description

• Coordinate and compile Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs) in line with SETA and B-BBEE requirements.
• Drive sales and revenue growth through SETA-funded training solutions and Discretionary Grant opportunities.
• Identify and engage with clients to understand their training and development needs.
• Recommend and facilitate suitable funded training solutions based on client requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Achieve agreed business development and revenue targets.
• Support management with WSP implementation and workplace skills development initiatives.
• Coordinate Learnerships, Skills Programmes and YES initiatives.
• Coordinate Discretionary Grant applications, funding reports, cost reports and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of SETA, B-BBEE, funding and regulatory reports.
• Coordinate SETA-related surveys, communications, updates and audits.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with relevant requirements.
• Stay up to date with changes to SETA, B-BBEE and skills development legislation and processes.
• Matric / Grade 12.
• 1–2 years’ experience within the training and skills development industry, preferably within a SETA-accredited training provider or similar environment.
• Experience in client relationship management.
• Strong working knowledge of: SETA processes Discretionary Grant funding WSP and ATR submissions Learnerships Skills Programmes B-BBEE Skills Development requirements
• Certification in Skills Development Facilitation (SDF), Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (ODETDP) or a related field would be advantageous.
