Job summary

The FAIS Ombud invites graduates to join its Graduate Training Programme in Pretoria, a structured pathway into the financial sector. Trainees will gain hands-on exposure to HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and governance tasks within a public service framework.

Participants will develop core professional skills, with emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and teamwork, while building a career in a regulatory environment dedicated to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resource Management or related field.
• South African citizen with a valid SA Identity document.
• Passion for public service and an interest in working in the Financial Sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across HR functions, including employee records management.
• Support recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Assist with ensuring HR compliance and governance requirements are met.
• Assist with coordinating and administering training and development initiatives.
• Support payroll, leave, and employee benefits administration.
• Assist with compiling and maintaining accurate HR reports and data.
