Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies (PABT) seeks Mechanical Engineering graduates to join its Technical Sales team in a role combining office and client-site work with 3–4 day trips. This position offers hands-on exposure to pump system solutions and direct client engagement.

You will support sales reps with technical expertise, develop proposals, and conduct system analysis and fault finding on-site, contributing to successful client outcomes and continuous improvement in pump applications.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc Eng in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• 0–2 years of working experience.
• Strong mechanical/process engineering ability.
• Excellent MS Word and Excel skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to live out 3–4 days per week.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to meet customer needs
• Compile technical reports and proposals
• Guide customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product
• Provide first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications
• Offer on-site assistance with product installation
• Conduct system analysis and fault finding on-site, compiling reports with solutions and root cause analysis
• Support sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients
• Ensure customer support quality assurance standards are consistently met or exceeded
