Job summary

Ultra Pharmaceutical And Medical Placements in Durban seeks a Jnr Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with own transport and a valid license, to call on GPs and pharmacies and build trusted relationships. You will engage pharmacists, coordinate training and events, and work with sales, medical and marketing teams to ensure effective outreach and knowledge transfer.

The role requires a life sciences background with 1–3 years in pharmaceutical sales, and is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Communications, or a related field an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 - 3 years experience in pharmaceutical sales.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Pharmacists.
• Act as the primary point of contact for pharmacists, ensuring they have access to the right experts and resources.
• Facilitate face-to-face and virtual meetings between pharmacists and Snr Reps.
• Proactively follow up on pharmacist queries and ensure timely responses.
• Keep stakeholders informed about key events, congresses, and industry updates.
• Develop and implement pharmacy engagement strategies to enhance product knowledge and patient support.
• Conduct training sessions for pharmacy staff, ensuring they are well-equipped with product and treatment insights.
• Provide ongoing support to pharmacy teams and addressing queries.
• Collaborate with sales and medical teams (MPL) to ensure alignment between pharmacist training and business objectives.
• Organize and manage small-scale events, webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions for pharmacists.
• Coordinate schedules for in-person and virtual engagements, ensuring smooth execution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education & Experience
