The role provides end-user IT and Infrastructure Support at Stonehage Fleming’s Cape Town Office.

Working Relationships

Works within the IT Service Delivery Team and reports to the IT Service Delivery Manager.

Principal Elements and Accountabilities
  • Support end-user issues at the Cape Town site, including IT systems and equipment such as servers, computers, video conferencing, security systems, copiers, scanners, printers, network cabling, and mobile devices.
  • Assist in the installation and upgrade of hardware, software, and systems.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of IT systems, minimizing damage and controlling access through security standards.
  • Participate in end-user training.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems.
  • Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
  • Ensure adherence to Group IT policies.
  • Provide flexible support hours, including infrequent on-call support for specific events.
  • Provide full-time on-site support at the Cape Town Office, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 am.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-secondary qualification or apprenticeship in IT.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Core Technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Office.
  • Experience with email, communication and collaboration tools, video conferencing, and networking.
  • Technical skills with desktop hardware and configuration, including computers, printers, scanners, copiers, and mobile devices.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Enthusiastic about IT hardware and technology.
  • Ability to train users individually and in groups.
