Job summary

Uptime Solutions Ltd is seeking an IT Recruitment Resourcer to support a growing recruitment team. The role is fully remote, SA-based, and focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying IT professionals for diverse client vacancies.

You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and clients to build strong talent pipelines across IT disciplines, while ensuring a high standard of candidate experience and data integrity in ATS systems.

Job Title: IT Recruitment Resourcer

Location: Fully Remote (South Africa Based)

Reports To: Head of Recruitment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Recruitment Resourcer to support our growing recruitment team by identifying, attracting, and engaging top technology talent for a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone with previous IT recruitment experience who enjoys candidate engagement, sourcing hard-to-find talent, and managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

The successful candidate will work remotely from South Africa and collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and clients to build strong talent pipelines across a variety of IT disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Identification

• Proactively identify, attract, and engage high-quality IT professionals across a range of technical disciplines and experience levels.
• Utilize various sourcing methods including LinkedIn, job boards, databases, networking platforms, referrals, and other recruitment technologies.
• Leverage third-party recruitment software, talent intelligence platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate databases to source suitable candidates for specific client vacancies.
• Conduct targeted talent searches for niche and hard-to-fill technology positions.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.

Candidate Screening & Assessment

• Conduct initial candidate qualification calls and video interviews to assess technical experience, career aspirations, communication skills, and suitability for client opportunities.
• Evaluate candidate skills against job specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed candidate summaries and recommendations for submission to recruitment consultants and hiring managers.
• Ensure candidates are fully briefed on opportunities, company culture, role expectations, and interview processes.
• Maintain a high standard of candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Candidate Pool Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS and recruitment databases.
• Regularly update candidate profiles, interview notes, availability, skillsets, and engagement history.
• Develop and nurture talent communities for key technology skill areas.
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and record accuracy at all times.
• Monitor candidate pipelines and provide regular updates to the wider recruitment team.

Recruitment Delivery Support

• Work across multiple vacancies simultaneously while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Support consultants with candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling, and recruitment administration.
• Assist in developing sourcing strategies for key client accounts.
• Track recruitment metrics and sourcing effectiveness to improve hiring outcomes.
• Stay informed on technology market trends, salary expectations, and candidate availability within the IT sector.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience working as a Recruitment Resourcer, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Recruiter within the IT/Technology sector.
• Strong understanding of IT technologies, terminology, and technical job roles.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, and other recruitment technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining recruitment databases and candidate records.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Desirable:

• Knowledge and understanding of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry.
• Experience recruiting for infrastructure, service desk, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and software development roles.
• Familiarity with CRM and ATS systems.
• Experience working with international clients and remote teams.
