Job summary

MyTalent Software is seeking an IT Recruiter to own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for IT roles in Cape Town. You will source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates while collaborating with hiring managers to meet technical staffing needs.

The role emphasizes a competitive base salary with commission on successful placements, and requires strong IT market knowledge, sourcing ability, and excellent communication skills. Location is Cape Town, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT recruiter or similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT job market trends, technologies, and skill sets.
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies and tools to attract candidates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ATS and recruitment software.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source IT candidates through job boards, social networks, referrals and other channels.
• Review resumes, conduct preliminary interviews and assess technical qualifications.
• Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand IT staffing needs and develop strategies.
• Create and post accurate job descriptions on relevant platforms.
• Coordinate technical assessments or coding challenges as part of interviews.
• Offer negotiation and onboarding support, coordinating with HR.
• Track recruitment metrics and report on time-to-fill and source of hire.
