Sabenza IT is seeking an IT Recruiter based in Pietermaritzburg to own the full recruitment lifecycle for IT roles, from sourcing to offers, and to build lasting partnerships with both clients and candidates.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing strong communication, sales acumen, and a genuine curiosity for technology to stay ahead in South Africa’s IT talent market.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates and clients.
• Knowledge of SA labour laws and recruitment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own full recruitment lifecycle for IT roles including sourcing and interviewing.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical needs and craft opportunities.
• Screen CVs, coordinate assessments, and manage offers with care.
• Build relationships with candidates and clients; share market insights.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with SA labour laws (EE & POPIA).
• Report on metrics like time-to-hire and quality of hire.
