Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager to oversee technology-focused projects in Richards Bay. The role requires guiding IT initiatives from initiation to completion, coordinating with IT teams, vendors and business units to deliver high-quality solutions.

Strong experience (5+ years) across software development, infrastructure upgrades and system implementations is essential, with preference for formal PMP/ITIL certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is required.
• Strong IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles and network knowledge.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalize IT projects on time and within budget.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, resources and budget.
• Coordinate IT resources and external vendors; monitor progress and risks.
