Job summary

Undefined is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager in Cape Town with a solid IT background in software development and project leadership. You will plan, execute and monitor projects, manage stakeholders, and drive value across teams while ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to budgets and timelines.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT, including 2–3 years in PM, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and hands-on use of JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

• IT degree or diploma required.
• PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in IT with 2–3 years in PM and/or software development.
• Experience with SDLC from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources and budget.
• Coordinate project teams to meet milestones on time and within budget.
• Report progress, risks and issues to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and align with objectives.
• Allocate resources and resolve conflicts across teams.
• Ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control; identify savings opportunities.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
