Job summary

Concentrix South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Technical Support II, IT Operations to uphold desktop, server, network, voice, and application environments. You will participate in incident management and provide L1 support in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of IT operations experience, familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM imaging, and security/compliance practices; you will coordinate shifts and help drive audits, patches, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT operations or technical support experience.
• Experience supporting desktop, network, server, voice and application environments.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file servers, SCCM imaging, endpoint encryption, patching and desktop compliance controls.
• Understanding of IT security, compliance, audit, and business continuity practices (PCI, HIPAA, COPC, ISO 27001, SSAE, BCP).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, prioritization, documentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Incident Management, Sev1 incident support, production floor validation, artifact collection, and coordination with technical teams.
• Provide L1 support for network, server, voice, desktop, application, and telephony infrastructure.
• Validate SCCM images and ensure systems are updated with patches and customer software.
• Support IT compliance, security, audit readiness, and BCP testing across required standards.
• Oversee and coordinate a team of 5–10 members, including scheduling, performance feedback, hiring support, and reporting.
• Complete all mandatory training within the provided timeframe.
