Kearsney College in South Africa seeks an experienced ICT leader to manage and support the college's ICT infrastructure and team. The role includes developing and executing the IT strategy, implementing security policies, and overseeing budgeting, projects, and asset management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, and VOIP systems, plus a proven track record in managing complex networks and IT security in an educational setting or similar

Formación

• 5 to 8 years’ experience in a position of similar nature.
• Experience in customer service industries preferred; experience in the education sector is an added advantage but not essential.
• Experience in Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, AD Connect, Intune, Exchange Online, Endpoint Manager, MS Defender, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Hyper V, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Veeam Backup, and VOIP skills.
• Experience in managing and administering wireless networks, routing and switching, and VLANS.
• Own transport/driver’s license, flexible with respect to hours of work, must reside or be prepared to reside within a 20km radius of the campus.
• Working hours Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 and some scheduled Saturdays.

• Budgeting and forecasting, expenditure and asset management.
• Project management.
• Manage Audio Visual and Print department.
• Setup, testing, and adherence to backup and disaster recovery.
• Software management – updates, license renewals for a wide range of software suites.
