Placements24 is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead based in Centurion, Gauteng. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud and on‑premise IT infrastructure while leading a dedicated IT team to ensure security, reliability, and performance across all systems.

The role requires deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), networking, and virtualization, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS) desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with server administration (Windows Server, Linux).
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
