Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect (Infrastructure) to design and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients in Centurion, Gauteng. This on-site role requires leadership across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, with emphasis on secure, scalable architectures and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as Infrastructure Solutions Architect or senior technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of servers, storage, and networking including TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python).
• Strong cybersecurity understanding applied to infrastructure design.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
