Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect in Sandton, Gauteng, to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The role is hybrid, collaborating with clients to tailor secure, cost-efficient cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will lead technical roadmaps, guide teams, and ensure best practices in security, networking, IaC, and CI/CD while staying current with cloud trends and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
