Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise IT operations, monitoring, and security policies. The role requires 5–10 years of IT experience and a strong background in Active Directory, virtualization, and network infrastructure in a travel-ready professional.

The candidate will oversee IT hardware resources, run projects, and ensure ISO/ITIL/QHSE compliant practices while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant IT experience.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an ITIL MIS support process (single point of contact for helpdesk, ITSM ticketing, troubleshooting, logs analysis, reporting, Centreon monitoring) for users in the RUN domain.
• Ensure production follow-up on a daily, weekly, monthly basis (RUN domain).
• Manage IT Hardware resources (inventory and capacity planning).
• Manage IT Infrastructure projects/major changes (needs, planning, specs, tender, supplier selection, UAT).
• Ensure capacity planning for IT Infrastructure.
• Apply company security and licensing policies.
• Manage IT Infrastructure contracts and SLAs; review supplier contracts for compliance.
• Maintain and update documentation of procedures and configurations.
• Ensure IT Infrastructure management aligns with ISO, ITIL, and QHSE processes.
• Techno watch, anticipate new technologies.

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• ITIL foundations certified advantage
• Microsoft Active Directory DHCP, DNS
• VEEAM backup, Knowledge of quantum and scalar technologies
• Cisco Switching and Aruba (Management)
• Centreon Monitoring, Managing hosts.
• FortiGate Firewall Management (Routing and Policing)
• Access Control management
• VOIP solution
• Knowledge in network/telecom (Aruba certifications appreciated)
• Knowledge in VMWare virtualization technology environment would be an added value.
• 5 to 10 years relevant experience in IT
• Must be willing and prepared to Travel.
• Must have a valid passport

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT Infrastructure projects/major change in the state of the art: express of needs from users, planning of implementation (priorities), specifications book, tender, supplier choice, user acceptance test.
• Ensure capacity planning for IT Infrastructure
• Apply company security and licensing policies.
• Manage IT Infrastructure related contracts and SLA: Review suppliers contracts making sure they are in accordance with requirements, meeting expectations.
• Eventually apply the penalties for non-compliancy (if part of the RUN domain)
• Maintain and update documentation of procedures and configurations.
• Ensure IT Infrastructure management is compliant with ISO processes, ITIL processes and QHSE processes.
