Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an IT Infrastructure and Network Manager to oversee ICS and Network teams while guiding staff and ensuring secure, resilient operations across the organization’s IT stack.

You'll manage on‑prem and cloud services, asset registers, hardware procurement, and design scalable network infrastructure for new facilities, mentoring a team and implementing DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
• Microsoft, Mikrotik, or CompTIA qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managing teams/people management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Strong knowledge of network management and monitoring; TCP/IP proficiency.
• Experience with on-premises Microsoft servers and MS O365 hybrid cloud.
• Experience with public cloud services, especially AWS.
• Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with large networks; network engineering qualifications are a plus.
• Experience with Nextcloud or Owncloud.
• Hands-on Docker experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Requirements:

• B degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, B Tech in Information Technology, Information System;
• Microsoft, Mikrotik or Comptia qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managing teams/people management
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT support roles
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services
• Sound knowledge of network management and monitoring
  • Good LAN / WAN / WIFI knowledge and experience of TCP / IP protocols
• Working knowledge of Microsoft on-premises server as well as MSO365 hybrid cloud and Mikrotik services
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of public cloud services, especially Amazon Web Services
• Proven experience in managing larger networks, or qualifications in network engineering not a requirement but a big plus.
• Working knowledge of Nextcloud (or Owncloud)
• UniFi Controller, UISP (formerly UNMS) management and network optimization
• Hands-on Docker experience is an advantage
• Experience w/ DevOps principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
