Overview

To support, secure, maintain, and improve the organisation's IT infrastructure across the business, ensuring stable, secure, and reliable IT operations. This role requires a hands-on technical professional with experience across infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and Microsoft technologies while driving automation and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements

• 5 years' experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems, or Network Administration

• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications

• MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft equivalent certification

• Infrastructure, networking, and systems administration

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network administration

• Server virtualisation, backups, disaster recovery, and IT security

• Microsoft Power Automate workflows and business process automation

• MikroTik routing and switching environments

• VOIP, hardware, and software environments

Key Performance Areas

• Optimise network, server, and infrastructure environments

• Configure, support, and troubleshoot routing, switching, VPN, wireless, and firewall environments

• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure AD environments

• Maintain and monitor virtual server environments, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes

• Network and infrastructure security controls are maintained and continuously improved

• Develop, maintain, and support Microsoft Power Automate workflows to improve operational efficiency

• Automate manual business processes using Microsoft technologies

• Troubleshoot VOIP, hardware, software, and end-user systems

• Investigate and resolve network, server, and infrastructure issues

• Provide internal IT support to business users across multiple sites

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, system configurations, and asset records

• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively implement improvements to maximise system availability
