Job summary

Enterprise Outsourcing is seeking IT Engineers for its Sandton office. The role focuses on service desk, server, and desktop support with a willingness to travel to client sites and work on a 24/7 rotational shift schedule.

Candidates should have a Higher Certificate in IT or Information Systems and be prepared to resolve issues in Microsoft and Linux environments, while continuously improving processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate in IT or Information Systems is required or preferred.
• Experience in IT service environments with incident/ request handling is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify user requests to ensure correct prioritization and escalation.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve faults quickly and communicate progress to users/clients.
• Log, validate and track service requests from intake to resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Research and propose improvements to existing support processes and tools.
• Travel to client sites as needed and support 24/7 operations on a rotational shift schedule.

Enterprise Outsourcing is a leading IT service provider with operations in Southern Africa, Australia, USA and Europe is looking for IT Engineers for their Sandton office. The main requirements for this position are the following:

We are looking to hire professionals, with or without experience that is passionate to resolve IT related problems, as well as creating an enhanced customer experience for our clients. The candidate must have project management skills as well as time management skills in order to address issues logged by the clients in a professional and timely manner. The candidate must be able to do research and solve problems on a daily basis, as well as have the motivation to continually improve themselves by keeping up-to date with latest trends and developments within the IT field. The successful candidate will work on a rotational shift schedule as our client operations run 24 hours 7 days a week as well as travel to clients sites as needed.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyzing and interpreting the requests to ensure the classification, prioritization and escalation of the requests are correct.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure the quick resolution of faults and the user and/or client are kept updated on the progress in relation to the resolution of the fault.
• Identification of failures and short-comings in the current processes and escal… with recommendations.
• Addressing the issues logged by the clients in a professional and timely fashion.
• Be responsible for receiving, validating and logging service requests.
• Tracking and updating logged requests.

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues around Microsoft and Linux technologies
• Ability to research and solve problems/challenges on a day to day basis
• Must be able to adapt to change (Infrastructure and Environment)
