Job summary

Dial A Nerd is seeking an Intermediate IT Engineer for an onsite placement in Sandton. The role focuses on a strong technical foundation across end-user devices, Microsoft environments, networking, security, troubleshooting and IT infrastructure.

You will take ownership of technical issues, work directly with users, and think logically under pressure while learning and growing in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills.

Are you the person people call when technology needs to actually work?

We’re looking for a confident, capable Intermediate IT Engineer to join us in an onsite placement role in Sandton.

This isn’t a basic support position. We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who understands how modern business IT fits together — from end-user devices and Microsoft environments through to networking, connectivity, security, troubleshooting and infrastructure.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of technical issues, working directly with users, thinking logically under pressure, and knowing when to dig deeper instead of simply applying the quickest fix.

What we’re looking for
