Job summary
Amazon in Cape Town is seeking a Logistics Administrator for our IT Warehouse to support operations through IT inventory maintenance, asset receipt and tracking, and process reviews across systems. You will work with the ticketing system to track equipment movement and provide clear insights to the business to meet customer asks in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires 2+ years in logistics, strong English communication, and experience with IT asset handling and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in logistics operations and asset management.
- Strong English communication, written and verbal.
- Experience with IT asset handling and renewals.
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT inventory processes.
- Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain asset management records with accuracy.
- Review hardware requests via ticketing system and escalate as needed.
- Coordinate shipments with shipping and warehousing teams.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage IT assets per disposal/reuse processes and allocate stock.
- Improve procedures while delivering high-quality services.
