Job summary

Msuez Uk is seeking a Logistics Administrator in Cape Town to coordinate transportation, inventory, and customer orders. You will work with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accurate records of shipments and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics administration or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
  • Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the logistics process, including transportation, inventory management, and customer orders.
  • Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper stock levels and efficient storage and handling of goods.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns related to logistics operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
