Job summary

10X Investments is expanding its Compliance team in Cape Town, offering a broad, business-facing role focused on CISCA compliance and regulatory oversight. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will advise, monitor, and support FAIS, AML/CFT, PFA and related regulatory needs across the business.

This mid-level role opens opportunities to engage with trustees, custodians, regulators and internal teams while supporting fund launches and governance across unit trusts, ETFs and AMETFs.

Qualifications

• LLB, Commerce, Compliance, Risk Management or related degree.
• FAIS Regulatory Examinations RE1 and RE3 advantageous.
• Compliance Institute SA membership advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote and monitor CISCA, BN90, BN92, Regulation 28, FAIS, FICA and related regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the organisation's compliance framework and compliance programme.
• Monitor fund mandates, investment restrictions and regulatory limits.
• Support the launch of new funds and investment products, including unit trusts, ETFs and AMETFs.
• Review fund documentation, mandates and product disclosures for ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Investigate and report on compliance incidents, breaches and complaints.
• Prepare regulatory returns and reports.
• Provide practical compliance advice to business stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance policies and monitoring plans.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with the broader Compliance team on enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Assist with compliance training, awareness and culture-building.
