Job summary

MSD South Africa in Cape Town seeks a Warehouse Associate to prep BOM packaging, pick and pack BOM, and maintain stock levels. You will manage barcodes, ensure stock is packed correctly for stock takes, and verify printed orders from production.

You will also record daily duties in Excel, support FIFO processes, and assist with pharmacovigilance notifications for product complaints as required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Good judgement and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and unsupervised when required
• Computer literate and able to follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Prepping bill of material packaging (bags and buckets)
• Picking and packing of bill of material
• Ensuring BOM is stocked
• Checking BOM packaging levels (bags, buckets, barcodes)
• Control and management of all barcodes
• Pack BOM for stock takes
• Check printed orders from production
• Quality control of printed tags
• Pack blank orders when needed
• Pack orders to standard
• Check incoming stock and FIFO shelving
• Follow stock take processes
• Record daily production duties in Excel
• Notify pharmacovigilance within required timeframe and cooperate with investigations
