Job summary

Tiger Brands in South Africa is seeking a Stock/Inventory Controller to manage the receipt, storage and issuing of packaging materials to support production. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock availability.

You will perform stock counts, investigate variances and coordinate replenishment while upholding FIFO principles, storage discipline, safety and quality standards. Growth opportunities exist within our FMCG group.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing warehousing.
• Knowledge of FIFO and stock rotation is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect packaging materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
• Issue packaging materials to production as required.
• Conduct stock counts and investigate variances.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Ensure FIFO stock rotation and proper storage practices.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare inventory and stock movement reports.
