Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Inventory Controller for our Centurion client to manage stock accuracy and optimize inventory levels, reducing stockouts and overstock situations.

Responsibilities include conducting regular counts, investigating discrepancies, maintaining inventory procedures, collaborating with purchasing and operations to ensure adequate stock for production and sales, and reporting on inventory performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Experience with stocktaking, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy of stock records.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and cycle audits to verify records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management procedures and policies.
• Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure adequate stock levels for production and sales demands.
