Job summary

Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Inventory Controller to safeguard stock integrity in a modern distribution center. You will lead cycle counts, data accuracy, and implement inventory control procedures to optimize availability for order fulfillment.

The role requires experience with WMS/ERP, strong analytical skills, and Excel proficiency. You will collaborate with the warehouse team to reduce discrepancies and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; logistics-related education is a plus.
• Experience with inventory control or warehouse operations is essential.
• Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and system updates.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify stock levels.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
• Monitor FIFO/LIFO to minimize obsolescence and ensure stock freshness.
• Process stock adjustments, receipts, and dispatches in the system.
• Generate reports on inventory status and turnover for management.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and suggest actions.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team on put-away and picking.
