Job summary

Wheco Group is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to manage daily inventory operations, ensure stock accuracy, and support operational and financial performance. You will lead a team, coordinate counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement process improvements to safeguard assets and drive accountability.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in inventory control, supervisory experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Grade 12 qualification.
3–5 years’ inventory control or stock management experience.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience with inventory systems, stock reconciliation, and reporting.
Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or Inventory Management (advantageous).

Responsibilities

Oversee daily inventory operations and coordinate team activities.
Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and resolve inventory variances.
Coordinate cycle counts, quarterly stocktakes, and annual stocktakes.
Process and authorise inventory adjustments, journals, and inventory records.
Prepare inventory reports and monitor stock gains and losses.
Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
Maintain inventory controls, safeguard company assets, and identify process improvements.
Support and develop the inventory team while promoting accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
