Job summary

Bidvestfacilitiesmanagement is seeking a dedicated Inventory and Stores Coordinator to manage and maintain stock across the Distribution Facility, ensuring SLA compliance and 100% accuracy.

You will monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, place replenishment orders, forecast demand, track deliveries, and uphold ISO 45001/9001/14001 and safety standards while keeping precise records and ensuring safe storage.

Experience in SAP R/3 and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Inventory and Stores Management or equivalent qualification.
• Matric (Senior Certificate) is required.
• Code B driver's license is an advantage.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a stores environment.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP R/3 is essential.
• Knowledge of OHS Act and ISO 45001/9001/14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient supply and perform monthly cycle counts.
• Strive for 100% stock accuracy and track stock movement in stores.
• Place orders to replenish stock, forecast demand, and manage flow of goods.
• Redeploy stock based on stores requirements and source obsolescence quantities.
• Manage purchase orders, verify deliveries, and maintain three-way match records.
• Follow up on outstanding POs and deliveries; ensure timely supplier invoicing.
• Oversee inbound/outbound shipments and coordinate internal stock transfers.
• Record damaged goods, notify suppliers within 24–48 hours, and document discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory records in systems and generate reports; ensure timely updates.
• Perform regular audits and ensure proper housekeeping and safety compliance.
