Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management in Gauteng seeks an Inventory and Stores Clerk to manage and maintain business inventory across the distribution facility, monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure 100% accuracy in stock records.

The role requires a Diploma in Inventory and Stores Management, Matric, 2 years of stores experience, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP R/3; a Code B driver's license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Inventory and Stores Management or equivalent.
• Matric (Senior Certificate).
• 2 years relevant experience in Stores environment.
• Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 45001, 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and conduct monthly cycle counts and quarterly stock takes.
• Strive for 100% stock accuracy and track stock movement in stores.
• Place orders, forecast demand, and manage goods flow to prevent OOS.
• Oversee inbound/outbound shipments and coordinate internal stock transfers.
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and pricing; perform 3-way match.
• Ensure timely supplier invoicing to Finance and update stock movements in the system.
