Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an Inside Sales I in South Africa to promote Alfa Laval products and services through established sales processes. This entry-level role focuses on understanding customer needs, identifying parts or products, and supporting transactional quotes.

You will actively follow up quotes, look for upselling opportunities, and use the CRM to document interactions and drive the sales cycle in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in inside sales or related field.
• Knowledge of basic sales processes and customer needs identification.

Job Description

• Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services.
• Investigate and identify parts/products needed by customer.
• Create and actively follow up transactional quotes.
• Proactive looking for upselling opportunities.
• Actively follow up the quote in order to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it is matching the customer needs.
• Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.
