Macsteel Fluid Control Cape Town is seeking an Internal Sales employee to support sales, customer service and profitability through accurate quotation management, order processing and strong stakeholder communication.

The role requires at least a Higher Certificate in Sales or related field, Grade 12, and a minimum of two years in sales with SAP experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is essential to maintain pricing, reporting and contract administration.

Formación

• Grade 12 and a Higher Certificate in Sales, Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales environment.
• Experience in sales administration, quotations, customer service and order processing.
• Contracts or projects experience desirable.
• SAP experience required.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong planning, organising and communication skills.
• Pricing and gross profit awareness.
• Good reporting and document control ability.
• Ability to work accurately and cope under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate quotations and sales orders in line with customer requirements and company procedures.
• Process Bermad production job cards accurately, completely and timeously.
• Maintain pricing and gross profit discipline within approved parameters.
• Support achievement of sales targets through effective follow-up, customer service and order conversion.
• Manage contract pricing, project quotations and routine customer commercial requirements within delegated authority.
• Ensure accurate pricing, order capture, contract adjustments and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and Distribution to support customer commitments.
• Monitor order progress, outstanding orders and delivery requirements.
• Communicate order status, delays and service-related issues to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate stock, delivery or operational constraints that may impact customer service.
• Resolve or escalation customer queries professionally and within agreed timeframes.
• Provide professional support to customers, sales colleagues and internal departments.
• Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships through clear communication and timely feedback.
