Job summary

Fouche & Co Recruitment is seeking an energetic Internal Sales Representative for a permanent, office-based role in the lighting and electrical solutions sector in South Africa. You will combine proactive prospecting with administrative support, handling cold calls, managing accounts, generating quotes, and ensuring a seamless client experience alongside the sales team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in internal sales, lead generation, or telephonic sales.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Matric qualification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound cold calls to prospect and identify potential new clients.
• Generate accurate customer quotes and process sales invoicing.
• Collaborate with the Sales Department and provide administrative or operational support where necessary.
• Answer incoming client calls and handle follow-up inquiries efficiently.
• Research and qualify prospective leads from trade shows, web searches, and digital campaigns.
• Understand client needs and present tailored product support and solutions.
• Maintain and update client records in the CRM and internal databases.
• Collaborate with channel partners and sales colleagues to close deals.
• Track and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales metrics.
