Job summary

Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety seeks an Internal Sales & Branch Operations Coordinator to manage internal sales, stock control and branch operations from the Cape Town site. You will handle quotations, orders and customer communications, ensuring accurate records and timely deliveries.

You will coordinate with the main branch on queries, process invoices and payments, and support warehouse tasks in a hands-on role. Strong numeracy and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• 3+ years in internal sales, sales administration, stock control or warehouse operations.
• Experience with quotations, order processing, invoicing and inventory management.
• Computer literacy including MS Office and an ERP/CRM or stock management system.
• Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and perform under pressure.
• Willingness to do hands-on warehouse duties and handle customer payments.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders and follow-ups.
• Process orders, invoices, payments and customer collections.
• Pick, pack, dispatch orders and arrange courier deliveries.
• Receive, record and manage stock, replenishment and stocktakes.
• Process tools sent for repairs and goods returned for credit.
• Manage petty cash, customer payments and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate sales, stock and customer records.
• Liaise with the main branch to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Prioritise daily tasks and assist with general branch operations.
