Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CIA/CA(SA)/CISA, 6+ years of audit experience with at least 2 in a supervisory role, COSO knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills.

About the Role

Our client, a leading retail group with extensive operations across Pretoria, is seeking an experienced and diligent Internal Audit Manager. This critical role involves developing and executing the internal audit plan, assessing risks, and ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes. The successful candidate will lead a team of auditors, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality audit work. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong understanding of auditing standards (IIA), risk management principles, and internal control frameworks (COSO).
• Experience in the retail sector is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in audit management software and data analytics tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present audit findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
• Must be a resident of South Africa with the ability to work from our Pretoria office under a hybrid model.
