Placements24 is seeking an Intern Architect for an architectural studio in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role focuses on gaining practical experience across architectural design and documentation under guidance from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include supporting design development, BIM workflows, and site-related tasks, with mentorship and hands-on exposure to a range of projects in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Architecture program.
• Basic understanding of architectural design principles and local building practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects and technologists in developing design concepts and drawing sets.
• Prepare architectural models, renderings, and presentations using relevant software.
• Conduct research on building materials, codes, and project information.
• Support the team with site visits, documentation, and administrative tasks.
• Learn and apply BIM software and workflows as directed by project teams.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings.
