Placements24 in the Eastern Cape is seeking a motivated Junior Architectural Technologist to join a forward‑thinking practice in Queenstown. You will assist in developing detailed design documentation, construction drawings, and specifications under the guidance of experienced technologists.

This role offers hands‑on learning, mentorship, and the chance to contribute to a diverse range of projects across the built environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience in architectural technology.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of building construction methods.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and sections using CAD and BIM software.
• Prepare specifications for materials, finishes, and construction details.
• Coordinate technical details with engineering consultants and contractors.
• Assist in site inspections and the documentation of existing conditions.
• Ensure drawings and documentation comply with relevant building standards and regulations.
• Support the senior team in project administration tasks.
