Placements24 is seeking a Junior Architect for their Port Elizabeth studio. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to learn and grow within a supportive team. You will gain hands-on experience across all project stages, under guidance from experienced architects.

You’ll contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination on Eastern Cape projects, building a solid foundation for a successful architectural career.

Qualifications

• B.Arch or M.Arch degree from an accredited institution.
• Enthusiasm for architecture and a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Basic understanding of South African building regulations and construction processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in developing design concepts and presentation materials.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.
• Participate in site visits and assist with construction administration tasks.
• Research materials, building systems, and regulatory requirements for projects.
• Collaborate with team members on design development and technical documentation.
• Support the team in coordinating with consultants and stakeholders as required.
