Placements24 in Nelspruit is offering an Architectural Intern opportunity designed for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in a professional practice. You will assist the design team with drawings, models, research and project support.

This hands-on role provides mentorship from experienced architects, exposure to real-world projects, and the chance to develop skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and teamwork within a friendly studio environment in Nelspruit.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Architecture program.
• Basic knowledge of architectural software (AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Strong interest in architectural design and construction.
• Good organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a team structure in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist architects and designers with the preparation of architectural drawings and documents.
• Support the development of physical and digital models for design presentations.
• Conduct research on materials, building codes, and precedents as required.
• Help organize project files and maintain office records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to design discussions.
