Job summary

Belay Talent Solutions seeks an Intermediate IT Support Engineer to provide first- and second-line IT support within a managed services environment. You will support Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, AD, Intune, and endpoint management, handling escalations and contributing to service improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of IT support experience, strong troubleshooting, and customer-focused service delivery. Travel to client sites may be required in this Cape Town role.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• A IT qualification (Diploma, Degree or Certification) is required.
• 2–4 years in IT Support, Service Desk or Systems Support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory and user administration.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and connectivity.
• Familiarity with Intune, Azure fundamentals and endpoint management.
• Experience with ticketing and remote-support tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

The role is responsible for resolving more complex technical issues, managing escalations, supporting cloud and endpoint administration, and contributing to service improvement initiatives while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with security standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and user administration.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Azure fundamentals, and endpoint management.
• Experience using ticketing and remote-support tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals or Associate Certifications.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, endpoint security, and cloud administration.
