Job summary

Recruitment Insured seeks a Portfolio Administrator/Manager (Account Executive) to join our Bedfordview team. The role manages a portfolio of insurance clients, sources new business, and builds lasting relationships while presenting tailored insurance solutions.

You will conduct risk assessments, prepare quotations, and negotiate with insurers. In-office, Mon-Fri; RE5 and FAIS compliance preferred; own vehicle for client visits.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years' client facing insurance experience including short term/commercial lines.
• Experience growing and managing a client portfolio
• New business development and client retention
• RE5 and FAIS compliance
• NQF level 4/5 in Short-Term Insurance or equivalent
• Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
• Client-facing with attention to detail and documentation
• Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles and policy structures
• MS Office proficiency; own vehicle and license for client visits
• Excellent English speaking and writing

• Manage and service an allocated portfolio of insurance clients
• Actively source, develop, and secure new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Conduct client reviews and risk assessments
• Provide tailored insurance solutions aligned with client needs
• Prepare and present quotations and proposals
• Negotiate terms with insurers and underwriting partners
• Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are adhered to
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Assist with claims support and resolution if required
