Job summary

Morton Moore Pty Ltd is seeking a Portfolio Administrator/Manager (Account Executive) to join the Commercial Underwriting team in a full-time, in-office role in Gauteng. You will inherit an existing client portfolio while actively developing your own book through new business opportunities.

The role requires 3–10 years in insurance with RE5 and FAIS compliance, strong sales and client-facing skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Office-based with vehicle and visits to clients.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years in short-term and commercial insurance.
• Experience growing and servicing a client portfolio.
• RE5 and full FAIS compliance required.
• NQF 4/5 in Short-Term Insurance or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an allocated portfolio of short-term and commercial insurance clients.
• Source, develop and secure new business opportunities to grow the portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to support retention.
• Conduct regular client reviews and risk assessments.
