Placements24 seeks an Instrumentation Technician for its Mahikeng operations to calibrate, maintain, and repair process instruments, sensors, transmitters, and PLCs. You will ensure accuracy, safety, and reliability of plant equipment while supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The role emphasizes precise diagnostics, reading P&IDs and schematics, and applying preventative maintenance to sustain optimal process control performance.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain, and repair a wide range of industrial instruments, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company operating procedures.
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to optimize process control performance.
