Job summary

OryxAlign is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to manage and enhance IT services for client environments. You will handle 2nd/3rd line incidents, maintain Windows Server, AD and Entra, and support VMware/Hyper-V, storage, backup, and DR platforms.

The role involves cloud and on‑prem workloads, automation with PowerShell, and collaboration with SA, UK and European teams. Office‑based with regional weekend/on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Infrastructure/Systems Engineer roles.
• Strong Windows Server and AD troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on VMware or Hyper-V production experience.
• Knowledge of storage, backup and DR concepts.
• Experience with migrations, upgrades or cloud projects.
• Methodical troubleshooting across compute, OS, virtualization, storage and network.
• PowerShell for admin or automation.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to document changes.
• Ability to work with SA, UK and European teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd/3rd line escalation for incidents and service requests.
• Administer, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server, AD and Entra.
• Support VMware and/or Hyper-V environments; manage host/cluster/VM lifecycle.
• Maintain on‑prem and cloud workloads with monitoring, patching and backups.
• Support enterprise storage, backup and DR platforms.
• Participate in migrations, upgrades and cloud adoption projects.
• Automate repeatable tasks with PowerShell and other tools.
• Produce technical runbooks and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with regional teams, providers and vendors to deliver outcomes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and planned maintenance.
