The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or Revit MEP.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing electrical systems for buildings, transportation networks, or utility infrastructure.
• Knowledge of South African electrical codes and municipal standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or Revit MEP.

Aufgaben

• Design electrical systems for infrastructure projects, including power distribution and substations.
• Develop lighting designs, earthing, and protection schemes.
• Prepare schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS and NRS standards.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and structural engineers.
• Oversee electrical aspects of construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project execution.
• Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
• Travel to project sites within Northern Cape and beyond.
