Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking an accomplished Senior IT leader to drive strategy and execution across multiple sites in South Africa. You will oversee IT operations, security, and service delivery while steering major ERP projects and cloud migrations.

In this ExCo-facing role, you will shape the IT roadmap, optimise business processes, and manage estates and vendor contracts. Strong English and Afrikaans, plus a valid driver’s license, are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years in IT with 5+ years leading a multi-site IT function.
• Experience at ExCo or senior management level is essential.
• Proven ERP project and major infra or cloud migration track record.
• Industry exposure where IT supports physical operations.
• Strong data integration, warehousing and BI background.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans; valid driver's licence.

Job description

Minimum requirements:

• Experience in an industry where IT supports physical operations, e.g. agriculture, food, FMCG, manufacturing, mining or logistics
• Data integration, warehousing and Business Intelligence experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Excellent written and spoken English and Afrikaans
• A valid driver's licence
