Job summary

iStaff (Pty) Ltd seeks a seasoned IT leader to span South Africa and international operations, ensuring robust infrastructure, ERP systems, and end-user support across sites.

You will drive cybersecurity monitoring, regulatory compliance, and business continuity during harvest and packing periods, while managing budgets, vendors, and IT transitions to Group services.

This role requires a minimum 10 years IT experience, 4+ years in leadership, and a relevant degree with ITIL or security certs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience in progressively senior roles.
• At least 4 years in IT leadership/management.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, end-user support, ERP, and cybersecurity.
• Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, service delivery and risk.
• Experience with IT security monitoring, compliance and business continuity.
• Operational technology understanding (production lines, cold chain, industrial systems).
• Experience migrating to shared/group IT services and post-acquisition integration.
• Experience in agribusiness, food production, manufacturing or logistics preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• ITIL certification; Cloud/PM/Security certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional IT operations and support across South African and overseas operations.
• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, ERP systems and enterprise applications.
• Oversee cybersecurity monitoring, incident response and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure system availability and business continuity during critical harvest and packing periods.
• Maintain data quality and ensure compliance with Group IT standards and policies.
• Support technology requirements across farms, pack houses and operational systems.
• Manage IT teams, budgets, vendors and contracts.
• Lead IT transitions to Group services and integrate newly acquired businesses.
• Collaborate with Group Technology and regional operational leadership to deliver reliable IT services.
