Placements24 is seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst with a focus on Threat Intelligence to join the team remotely in support of our operations in the United States. The role centers on proactively identifying, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence on cyber threats affecting the organization.

You will research threat actors, their TTPs, and emerging attack vectors to provide actionable insights for defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in threat intelligence analysis or a related cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of the global threat landscape, cyber-attack methodologies, and malware analysis.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze threat intelligence from open-source, commercial feeds, and government reports.
• Identify and track threat actors, their motives, capabilities, and targets relevant to the organization.
• Develop and maintain threat profiles, TTPs, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Produce regular threat intelligence reports and briefings for security teams and management.
• Provide tactical and strategic recommendations to improve defensive measures based on intelligence.
