Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Design Drafter to create detailed electrical drawings, schematics and layouts for industrial plant projects in Mahikeng, North West. You will use CAD software to generate high-quality documentation that supports construction and maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and has 2–3 years of drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD with exposure to Revit or EPLAN is preferred.

Formación

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Electrical Design Drafter.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit and EPLAN.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and electrical principles.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
• Assist electrical engineers in developing design concepts and technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, client specs, and company procedures.
• Review sketches, calculations, and specs to produce accurate drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design queries and discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing BOMs based on finalized drawings.
• Support design for power distribution, lighting, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Ensure consistent application of drafting standards and symbols.
