Placements24 in Rustenburg, North West, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems for industrial machinery. You will create robust designs, conduct performance analyses, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical engineering, and service teams to deploy and support products, perform stress and thermal analyses, and drive manufacturing-friendly designs (DFM).

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for industrial machinery using 3D CAD software.
